Managing your library loans

October 16, 2008

Some Library users have reported difficulties in receiving notices

regarding books they have borrowed.  The Library is looking into the

possible reasons for this situation.

All Library notices are sent to your official UTAS email account, unless you

have formally changed your email address with Student Administration.  If

you haven’t done so, then use your UTAS Webmail account for Library

communication.

And here are some other tips:

1. Check the trash bin and filter for your UTAS Webmail account

2. Check that your alternate email provider hasn’t ‘blacklisted’ University

of Tasmania or (libloan@)

3.  Use My Account on the Library webpage to check the due dates for

borrowed items and renew them if there are no Requests on them

4.  Keep your print receipt in a place where you can check it regularly

If you feel that you still have a problem receiving Library notices, please

bring the problem to the Client Services Desk at your preferred library

location.
